1 With Ylana Thomson and Carlie-Anne Reynolds An announcement from Professor Ellyrianna Turnstable, Hogwarts Headmistress, shows that Hogwarts is to hold a performance this year. Students asked about the title of the show and how long it will be until it is shown but they have, so far, had no reply.
An ancient tradition from before Dumbledore was Headmaster, a Hogwarts show was eagerly anticipated until an unfortunate event when a magical creature acting as a harmless Giant Flobberworm exploded and set the Great Hall on fire. Luckily, no-one was hurt, but the Board of Govenors voted to stop the shows due to Health and Safety.
Now it seems that the event is back for another round with the critics. Lets just hope that this years show will not result in injury. The Daily Prophet will follow this article. |
New group For Hogwartians |
| From noon tomorow, popular muggle social website Facebook will see a new Hogwarts group. For Hogwarts students and staff, the TEH facebook group will open up more OOC events and chats alongside RPs and discussions. After emerging from talks with the Hogwarts Board of Govenors and members of the Ministry of Magic yesterday, Headmistress Turnstable stated "The new TEH group on Headbook will be a welcome addition to the Wizard-Muggle relations that we struggle with. To keep our existance under wraps, we must act normal and invite only our Students, staff or people who are willing to join Hogwarts to the group. Keeping everything hush-hush is very important." But lets just hope that Mrs Turnstable's obvious mistake with Facebook is the only mistake any Wizards and Witches will be making. |

Job Vacancies Take All Time High |
By Carlie-Anne Reynolds Unlike the Muggle World, vacancies at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are at an all-time high. With so many teachers on strikes these days, Headmistress Ellyrianna Turnstable is left with no choice but to run many lessons herself. "I've even been forced to allow certain older Students become teaching assistants! It's an outrage!" The Daily Prophet will post the latest Job Vacancies each issue. But, for now, you can view the list over at the 'Job Vacancies' board at Hogwarts. |

By Charlie Jackson The House Quidditch teams for Hogwarts are being picked already, Gryffindor Prefect Ylana Thomson says. After the abysmal performances last year, I for one am glad that the Teams are being started from scratch; that 610-20 defeat in the Ravenclaw v Slytherin match last year was literally painful to watch. Most students are showing clear signs that they are confident their house will win the Quidditch cup this year. Zach Mellow, Slytherin Quidditch captain and prefect, reports: We won last year and we'll win again! COME ON SLYTHERIN! Good luck to all teams, I say! |
