Nyxon lazed on a bench in the grounds, reading a book on Arithmancy, occasionally looking up and around her at the barely present snow. Hogwarts truly was beautiful.

Ryan stood on the stony shore, skimming stones across the lake. It was chilly, but he'd wrapped up warm, and he needed to get away from the hustle-bustle of hogwarts.

Nyxon caught Ryan's eye and smiled at her House mate. He had been the nicest to her of all the students.

Ryan smiled back, his heart lifting, he wondered how long she'd been there. He skimmed one final stone, then started walking over "Nyxon" he called out in his soft Irish brogue "How are you keeping? It's a little chilly! I hope you wrapped up well"

Charlie, a little bored of being in the Common Room by herself, ventured outside. It was still chilly, but she didn't mind. Her mind was on her sister, and how much she had changed since being friends with Ylana Thomson. Usually the Hufflepuffs were with the Gryffindors with pretty much everything they did, but Ylana was a little... Different to what the quiet Huffies liked. Still, Sam said that Ylana was really nice, so she had to have some redeeming qualitied, but Charlie just didn't like her as much. She shrugged; "Oh wellm" she muttered to herself.
Hugging her cloak around her, she stepped down to the Lake and heard a name being called in an Irish accent. Looking up, Charlie saw Ryan talking to Nyxon, a recent addition to Hufflepuff. She smiled at her housemates.

Ryan saw Charlie heading their way and grinned "Hey Charlie, how are you doing?" She looked like she had a lot on her mind at the moment, so he paused "You ok Charlie? You're looking very thoughtful."

Ryan's lip twitched... he hoped Charlie hadn't seen it. He was still a little annoyed with Sam. "What about her Charlie? She ok?" he ruffled his hair and stared out to the lake "Yeah, I'm feeling good. It's been a quiet day, but I needed that. So back to Sam, is she doing ok? I wouldn't worry too much, Ylana might be totally snarky, but she has a loyal streak too"
